This newsletter service is provided by Matthias Fritsch since 2001. Apart from the original purpose to announce OPEN SCREENINGS (Facebook) in Berlin it developed more and more into a platform for information exchange service of the independent moving images scene at the Berlin area. Independent film producers and event organizers announce their events, find co-workers and assistance for film projects and publish useful informations such as lectures, workshops and festival deadlines.
The newsletter appears on an irregular basis every 1 or 2 months. At present there are over 1000 subscribers in the mailing list. The majority originates from Berlin, however are added also ever more from over regional of the Federal Republic and even from foreign countries.
